Where are you located and what conditions is the Ravenala planted in? sun? shade? How much water? Was it growing at one point, then stop growing? Pinpointing the problem with the details provided is like trying to diagnose a car problem but all we know is the car doesn't run.

Also, Ravenala madagascarensis is not a palm, you might get more help from folks in the tropicals forum, or the Florida gardening forum where these plants are fairly common.

Thank you for your comments. I'm located in the Leeward islands in the Caribbean. The tree gets a minimum of 7 hours of sun per day. It does not get frequent watering. Yes, it has grown just a bit , after the time of its planting.

A photo would help. You haven't mentioned whether you water or fertilise it. I planted a small one a few years ago but it has grown reasonably well. They like a lot of water. I'm closer to the equator than you but not on an island so our dry season is hot and very dry. That's when I have to give it a lot of water. Wet season it doesn't get extra. If you're not watering yours during the dry season that could be a part of the problem but wet season you should get some growth.
