My low budget minigreenhouse

Hi, I thought I share my experimental rooting/growing method. I ordered some cuttings in May (from Paul Shirley) and instead of using bags or misting all day I put them in these big transparent IKEA boxes. I don't have AC in my flat so the temperature was 25C and up all the time. There is a fabric on the bottom that absorbs and redistributes the water that condensates on the "north side" of the box. The lid is always on, I put some holes in it with a drill for gas exchange. The advantage is that access is very easy, watering, rearranging pots, checking for pests.

It worked out pretty well sofar, all cuttings rooted and starting to grow in the humid environment. I think I will keep them in the box for some time, they really seem to enjoy the high humidity. The ones I took out kinda got a shock from the dry room air and stopped growing.

PS: I love the smell inside the box, it's like stepping into a real greenhouse of a botanical garden :)
