Some August Color in Tampa

Cym. Chen's Ruby has really just won me over. Taking full baking sun during the oppressive FL summers, and just explodes. I went from my first blooming last year with two spikes to triple the size in one year with seven spikes so far. No, we can't grow the California Cyms, but that is ok....this really is a jewel...

One parent is the famous Cymbidium Golden Elf. Here, where Cymbidiums are garden plants sometimes too many warm summer nights restrict flowering of some hybrids in spring.

Golden Elf and its children have extended the Cymbidium flowering season.
