I don't know of any online sources that would sell that small a quantity. Your best bet may be your local Craigslist, Freecycle, or other local community swap/for sale/sharing network where you could post a request and hopefully find a home vermicomposter near you - just about anybody with a home bin could spare a handful of red wigglers!

Moshe: Don 't know where you live. But, try to find a horse farm, horse boarding, horse riding school or anybody who has a horse. They sure have a manure pile. That pile will have EFs and FREE, if you ask nicely. Good luck.

I'm a little confused. You say you have a small container filled with E. Hortensis and that you want E. Foetida to work 'the top layer'. Well, for EF's the top layer is usually 6"-8" deep which is already filled with your existing worms so why do you need EF's at all?

Wow! And here I thought we had it bad with wars, terror attacks and rocket attacks. I guess that as long as things are quiet, I don't think about it as much whereas forest fires and floods are very much 'in your face'.
