Plumerias in bad shape after repotting

Hi there,

I have two plumeria cuttings that have been growing very well (although no flowers this year) over the past 5-6 months. However, I found that the soil was staying damp for too long, despite not watering more than 1-2 times per week. I repotted them in gritty mix a couple of days ago and they are now looking to be in pretty bad shape. In hindsight, it was probably not the best idea to repot during a heat wave (I'm in SoCal - San Gabriel Valley), but I've been keeping the plants in shade and giving them adequate water.

My question is whether I've killed them, they are just getting burned from the heat, or whether this kind of yellowing is normal during the repotting process. Any advice or insight would be most appreciated. Thanks!
