I have a hosta with some splotching on some of the leaves. I don't know the name - it was a gift from a friend's garden early this summer. I received hosts from 3-4 friends this summer, and I can't remember where I got this particular one. It's been a hot and dry summer here since, but I don't recall seeing the splotches earlier, and I'm concerned about the possibility of HVX. Before I remove it, what are your thoughts?
