Tillandsia Curly Slim Care

last modified: 8 years ago

Hello everyone. I've got this baby curly slim for a month or so. I keep it indoor right near west-facing window. My Eric Knobloch turned dark red, almost brown, hanged outside, so I believe it's hot at noon. We have wind sipping through the window gap, so when I spray my baby tillandsias they should be dry less than 2 hours. I'm mostly home at night. So, when I checked on my Ionantha babies that they started having dry tips, I decided to spray them every morning. Sometimes at night too, when they seem so 'crisps' and light.

The treatment goes for my baby curly slim too. At first, the leaves showed reaction when I gave it more water. But then, these few days, it stays curling.

This was how I first got it.

With scars... :(

This usually how it was after it's hydrated.

It stays curling like this for a few days now, even after daily spraying morning & night, and yesterday, being submerged for 30 minutes. I've never submerged it before.

This how I set them.

Was it something I did wrong?

Thank you.
