You need to tell the readers where you are in the world and where you have the plant.

I live in Saudi Arabia, sub tropical, zone 11 (l think) and I place my plant in a window shelf facing north.

Your dendrobium is a duck without water, Too dry.

Agree with shavedmonkey. These Dends like more moisture. You could mix some bark chips with the leca or a bit of sphag. Something to hold more moisture. Also, I would cut way back on fertilizer.

The plant is having root problems. Dendrobiums do not like being repotted or having their roots disturbed. It could be something as simple as that. However, I suspect a combination of over fertilization and not enough moisture. It could also be salt buildup.

Flush the pot well to remove fertilizer salt buildup on the leca. Cut way back on fertilizer until signs of new growth. Add some moisture retention to your mix. Give the plant good light.

dendrobiums are notorious for not liking their roots disturbed, should have left it on the coconut shell until it has new growth with new roots and then maybe it would have suffered less. Your setup looks kind of "loose", dendrobiums also need very steady support, in a smaller than usual pot for the size. If it gets direct sun by your window it will bleach out the green in the leaves......

Next time do some research on plant culture and ask questions before you make drastic changes. It will take a long time for plant to re-establish itself.

You have a hard cane Dendrobium. Think tropical South East Asia, Florida, Hawaii. What sort of Humidity levels are you getting where you have the plant and what is the temperature there?
