I need help identifying this plant. I found these attached to a tree near my apartment complex's pool. For context, I live in Mobile, Alabama: the most humid and rainy city in America (though we get infrequent thunderstorms rather than a constant drizzle like Seattle). It is located on the Gulf Coast, with a similar climate to most of northern Florida. We have an abundance of Spanish moss in this area, so that is my current guess, but it wasn't a long, flowing clump like I am used to seeing with Spanish moss, so I'm not sure.
