Hello all, I'm hoping someone with experience growing limequats can help me out. I received a lakeland limequat from Harris this summer and it took a very long time to reach me - partially due to the distance from Florida to Washington and partially because it was sent over the July 4th holiday. In any case, it arrived largely defoliated with some deficient foliage. The tree has since flushed once up and down the trunk and is overall doing much better, but it also bloomed profusely and set between 10 and 20 limequats.

1. Should I pick them as they reach marble size so the tree focuses on foliage or can I get away with leaving some on the tree?

2. Will this variety self-thin and drop the fruit it can't finish, or is it like a Meyer lemon that would kill itself just to ripen as many fruit as possible?
