Seasonal Colors

I have noticed that many heuchera descriptions say that they change colors between spring, summer and fall. Is this true for most varieties that they are a dramatic change or a slight change in color? Sometimes i google one variety and i get an orange color, then one picture shows bright red, etc.

I have several heuchera that change color through the season. Here in 5a the color on the darker/ purplish heuchera are more stable. My Georgia Peach, Miracle, Circus and Carmel can change color dramatically. Personally I'm not fond of Carmel, not crazy about the color. I'm not sure if my experience helps much in your zone, just adding my experience

If you want to go through a lot and see the changes try here. If you click on the name it will show you the season change. Because I have Carmel is one that I know. Spring it is a orange Pink Spring, Summer about July it is greenish yellow, Fall light green.

You are welcome. I use them a lot. They also grade them so you know which ones are strong and weak. I was losing so many and the ones that they had listed below 3 were the ones I lost.
