Replacing Front Door: vote, comment.
A year-and-a-half ago we moved into a 1971 no-frills, stick-built rambler. We are thinking of replacing the front door. We are looking for something which 1) lets a little more natural light into the front room (there is no wired-in overhead lighting in that space) and 2) is a little more interesting.
Below are pictures of our house (in and out), as well as the proposed new door. The door would be painted the same color as the old door, until such time as we are ready to re-paint the whole house.
Please ignore the lack of landscaping and the dead houseplant - both are works in progress.
Our style is (obviously) eclectic!

Here are some more examples of that style of door that we offer if you are interested in more suggestions. We have these available in clear, frosted, and some decorative pattern glass styles as well. :)

Another yes to the new door. I would paint the garage door the same color as the siding so as to minimize its presence. Consider a brighter color for the entry door.
