Crooked trees?

Some of my trees are growing pretty crooked, not just a little, but in my opinion super crooked. I planted them straight but the few that are now crooked were kind of like that in the pots from the nursery. I thought about staking them but ive read here that that makes the tree weak so should i try to push some dirt under one side of the trees in the pot to even it out or just wait it out, maybe it will straighten itself out? This may seem like a common sense question to most of you but im still new.

I feel like most of mine were crooked from the nursery. I think it's a combo of the graft and then crappy trimming from the grower. Then they cram them onto a pallet to ship. After that, the seller leaves them all crammed together on the pallet.

Is one side of the tree getting more sunlight? Can you take a photo of one or two of the really crooked ones?

In the next repotting straighten the trunk. Do not put dirt on the root collar area, if the trunk is barried even a little, it can rot. That's what I do with my container trees.

Rotate the pots periodically, or whenever you think about it. Plants grow in the direction of food, water, and light.

Why do I hear of container grown trees growing towards the sun and unbalanced, although rarely hear of in ground tree's doing the same? A tree planted in ground can not be rotated, why is it they grow so much more balanced?

Inground trees do the same, if they only get light from 1 side, or water, or fertilizer from one side
