Due to DM, I ended up with New Guineas and technically not impatiens, but I planted some Vinca's.

Loved how the Vinca's thrived in the sun and it was not a water pig. Not a full on blossom vs. foliage ratio, but it was close ;-) Next year, I think I might stick with JUST vinca's. Cheaper to boot than the NG/SP.

LOL. Had to post this but boy are the stalks on the NG tender. I was teaching my lil one how to ride his bike he brushed by a NG just too close, and the fat stalk just snapped off. Oh well, seasons right about to get cold anyhow ;-)

As my lil ones get bigger and rowdier, instead of sun and water requirements, I need to now account for kid friendly requirements as well during the planting season.
