My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

The deck was raised a little and deck boards re - oriented. I think it looks better.

    how have the two of these woods aged together? did you end up sealing them? thinking about doing a redwood hand railing on my ipe deck

    This deck has an oil stain on the redwood and Ipe. I usually just do clear oil on both . Some people like Ipe to weather . I like to oil it every year or two .
    You do need to keep redwood protected from the elements .

    I added an arbor to the deck .

    Thank you for reminding me what it looked like before .
