I know we have had this discussion MANY times before, but...
DO NOT BUY hoya seeds from vendors in China, or vendors who use manipulated images to represent what they are selling.
A typical listing for NOT hoya seeds:
Hoya seeds have a very quick deterioration rate, after collection. This is why reputable overseas vendors send them wrapped in damp paper towels, tissue paper, or newsprint. After 15 days post-harvest, the germination rate rapidly declines.

Hoya seedlings are very fast to germinate, and very slow to mature into a plant.
They usually have a single set of cotelydons (embryonic leaves), but sometimes, a third cotelydon will be present (I see this a lot in my small leafed seedlings):

8 years agoI have Hoya seeds that I bought on eBay recently.
I'm very happy with the germination rate, Hoya" papachonii " seedlings.
