How dark can you place a Sans indoor without causing any harm to the plant over time?

I only got North facing windows. I'm wondering if I can place Sansevierias further into the rooms, and if they will still grow and be healthy. But I suspect they would grow much slower and need much less water.

I know I could use lamplights, but I'm curious if they would remain healthy without it. I'm running out of space...
