Thanks for responding, Ken. I used potting soil and some slow release fertilizer in spring (which is what I usually use). I know about the ultimate size- kind of crazy. I had another Abutilon that only had one bloom this season as well (smaller 'Chinese Lantern'). We had an unusual amount of rain and cooler weather this spring and summer. Here are some photos of it- still have the Peace Tree Farm plant tag so it's definitely the Abutilon BBG.

How much sun does it get. It looks very tall, with long spaces between the nodes, like it's searching for more light. I just googled for images of the plant, and your photo was on the page.

I'm having the same issue; did you have any luck with the coffee grounds?

I've had another variety of Abutilon for over 30 years - it always blooms - summer and winter - inside or outside. I got one of the Biltmore Ball Gown Abutilons (full of blooms at the time of purchase) and after it stopped blooming, it has never bloomed again. I don't get it.
