I had it for couple years... for whatever reason got tired of it. It is a relatively slow grower, I grew it under 2 T8s on wick - this way it produced a real good crown variegation and was looking very festive. When it finally blooms - it holds the flowers for a very long time.

Irina, this may be a silly question but I'll ask it anyway.

Once a leaf matures and has grown to its full size, can the amount of variegation it has change on it?

In my experience - the amount of variegation diminishes while the leaf is growing - and you can speed it by keeping the plant warm or adding nitrogen fertilizer - usually older leaves have less variegation. But after leaf reached it maturity - I think it is generally stable. Small changes still can happen since it is a living tissue. I love variegation like anybody else - but I am worried if the plant gets way too variegated - it can starve. So - too much white -it is a kiss of death.

Since I do not have all the answers - just some experience - keep researching!
