I have two and both seem to be slow growers. The first one purchased is still sitting there, like a lump. But the second one purchased grew a little tiny leaf one day, poking its wee head out of the soil, and within two weeks, it was a full-size intrusion in the pot! So -- no telling for sure, I guess. I do find that the edges "crisp up" a little, but....gotta' love them the way they are. Yours looks good -- enjoy it.

I see 7 or 8 thick, wide leaves on your plant. The plant is pouring its energy into leaf and likely rhizome production. I think this beautiful plant gets a bad rap for slow growth. If you will keep your soil moist and fertilize it in the spring and again in the mid summer with a slow release fertilizer like Osmocote, I think you will be rewarded :-) You might think about a larger pot.

Beautiful! I have a small one and like Robin's it seems to be slow growing. I will follow Miaforets advice next spring and see what happens.

Thank you for the advice, I will try that! I had planned to put it in a larger pot first, but I was afraid to accidently overwater it. Really tricky to plant this one, with all the leaves hanging down like that. I think I spent atleast 20 minutes trying to get it straight in the pot and find a spot where none of the leaves would get covered in soil and still cover all the roots, haha.
