see he says upright so without a pic i was thinking variegated Multiflora or lockii, but do those come in Variegated?

Here is the pic pic the Hoya. The new leaves are flat then later they curl up and become small and variegated. It is roughly 5 ft tall.

Why do you think that's a hoya?

Looks like a shrub from one of the big box stores.

It looks like Devil's Backbone to me. It grows wild in Florida.

OK. That pic was posted in a stretched manor. Except for those flat leaves in the center the rest are about 1.5" long, have white edges, there tight, curled and very leathery. I have some similar in another pot but it trails, with much smaller stems.

Still wonder why you think it's a hoya....did the person you bought it from tell you that?

Lydia, that's exactly what I thought it was also...variegated Citrus leaves :o)

Ona, can you scrunch up one of the leaves with your fingers, if it smells like Citrus that's probably what it is...Good luck, hope you figure out what it is :o)

Definitely doesn't look like a Hoya...
