Meet the new Meyer cultivar

Here is a photo of the new cultivar selected to be the Mother of all future Meyers in Guatemala.

The picture was taken September 20.

Not only does this tree produce consistently 400 lemons per year; but they are all the type the premium markets demand. And the kicker is, as you can see, it produces marketable lemons a full month before the rest of the trees, which typically are ready for market at the end of October.

I have created a new budwood grove of 60 trees that are clones of this one; and if those trees can produce marketable fruit a month earlier than the competition, its game over. Our production costs, with our new production system, are already one quarter of Sunkist' costs.
