Does this bottom plant look like root rot to you? I searched gwf and didn't see leaves like this. This is one of the plants I wound up doing a poor job with the neckectomy (that is too a word, uh huh, look it up).

The rest of the leaves look good.

It looks like there's soil on the brown part of the leaf? If so, it might have somehow sat in the soil or got wet soil on it. Or something got it. But the top plant is gorgeous so I'd say it's an isolated incident. I guess pluck it off and then watch for new signs leaf issues.

But if what you both say is true, then I'll turn that frown around and be happy with thinking there's nothing going on. I wanted to catch it early on if there was. Here's is a pic of the plant we're checking out...

It needs a reshaping but I had been leaving it alone while in recovery mode.

The plant had been label as Harmony's Cripple Creek and the funny thing is that the leaves do not match the plants shown in the AVSA's FC2. I think their pics are possibly wrong for the plant? But I'm just going by what I found from googling it.

Go ahead and reshape it. I can see 4 leaves I would have taken off long ago. Go ahead and remove the gunky lower leaves. Leaving them on means they also are using food and water. Let the food and water go to the leaves that deserve it! lol Other than that,,,it is looking good. Rosie

What Rosie said! I have often gotten super worried and then realized they were bottom leaves. :o)

Aegis, would you believe I accidentally left that plant dying of thirst? This morning it looked like a wilted pup (hmm, do pups wilt? And more importantly, can I call my violet a pup?)

It was a sad morning for me...

I hope that it was only the wilted pup :^)

My guess is that it will bounce back to its beautiful self in a day or so.
