Yes bigger well draining pot right.The biggest thing to know about kentia palms is that they don't like a whole lot of light.They can be grown in almost complete darkness.Tend to turn yellow with too much light.Good luck.

So it should be repotted in a larger pot? Using regular potting soil? The corner opening has a drain, I don't want to fill the entire opening with plants, thinking of maybe making someway of a filler around it, maybe topped off with pebbles. Not sure how though, may be easier to add other potted plants but want to keep it simple. Thanks.

Palms need a well-draining soil, avoid excessive peaty mixes (many commercial mixes are essential peat moss), so it generally is better to make up your own mix. You can use some of the better mixes and maybe add additional perlite or coarse sand (not fine "play sand"). Palms prefer pots that are slightly snug so I don't know if you necessary need to repot (hard to tell from your picture of the plant to pot ratio). Kentias are expensive but they are great interior palms. They do tend to wanna take up a fair amount of space though.

indeed... these LOVE light, the more the better normally (here in So Cal we grow them in full sun, even inland where it gets over 100F regularly). But going from dark to light too fast will cause it to burn... and it's not an it.. it looks like you have 3-4 separate palms in one pot. These are pretty easy to separate if you want, though you don't have to, either. But these do get very large eventually and bigger pot might not be a bad idea, particularly if you are going to keep them all in one pot. I pot mine with regular palm soil from Home Depot... works fine for these (very forgiving palms by the way).
