backsplash with hanstone tranquility?

I have white shaker cabinets and hanstone tranquility countertops. Love it all. But am struggling with finding a backsplash. I love the look of marble 2x6 herringbone, but am saddened by the thought that it doesn't go with my countertops. So I'm thinking of herringboning 2x6 white glass tiles. Any advice? I've got pics of the marble and glass attached (but I'd herringbone the glass). Thoughts or any pics to share of glass herringbone?

Beth H. Of course.
In the end, I decided against a marble mosaic. .. too busy and competed too much with the countertop. I was leaning towards white ceramic subway, but wound it too basic. So I found a white ceramic in an elongated hexagon shape. I consider it a variation on the subway theme. We put it up with white grout and absolutely love it.

I love those counter tops! I'd keep it simple and clean. Long beveled white tile.

The glass tiles do nothing for your kitchen. Perhaps a arabesque style tile, pattern, penny style or subway. So many to look at.

Normally I post pics of tiles for you guys, but this site is down for posting pics lately.

Go to tilebar and get something in the 2x8 range to do the herringbone. do not use those glass tiles on that sheet. too small. be careful w/white glass,,,some look green when they up against the wall.

tilebar has a white thassos you can try, a white glass tile, and different ceramic tiles. they will send you samples 5 for $5.

Dear Houzz - if you are listening, I can actually see the links behind the posted Houzz pictures with my superpowers. Somehow they are overlapped. Hope you can fix this soon. Its really cramping my style.

You can load the pics just go to houzz photos and drag and insert. I figured it out this morning. I think the marble looks great with the counter.

Phamm. The cabinets are from Laurier .. a company in Quebec Canada I believe.
The paint is a custom white ... can’t remember the colour name though.
