Any suggestions for kitchen stools- any help would be appreciated

    I would get some backless industrial bar stools! Crate & Barrel has some good options.

    I would keep it to the same finish as the island. Then you aren't adding another finish to match in a room. It doesn't have to be polished it could be the same finish but in a brushed if you don't want the shine of the island.
