Each home calls for a different front door color but navy, red, gray, black and white are pretty classic colors that go with most. Those are the options I would push them for first.

I'd say a nice deeper red would be nice. A color I've used before was called Sequoia Redwood from kelly moore or Cardinal Red from Sherwin Williams.

Swiss Coffee white on the trim.

If you're fortunate enough to be able to paint your door, I would consider a full glass storm door painted in the same color for optimal effect.
