Heads Up on New forums

I don't frequent here, but thought you should know:

Looks like Houzz is planning to change the forum design to this:

That is for the Kitchen Forum.

Now that wouldn't be so bad except for the fact that in the feed if you click on over half the threads listed, they have nothing to do with kitchens, but are threads in design dilemma, laundry, appliances, paint, cleaning tips, etc. So it means you now have to wade through threads that have NOTHING to do with the forum you're interested in.

When I go to the kitchen forum, I want to only see kitchen threads.

I'm hoping they don't ruin all the forums.

I suggest we all send houzz a message. Here's the link:

https://support.houzz.com

At the top is a link to Submit a Request. If we all do so, maybe it will help.

I was right. Wish I wasn't. I won't stay.

I wondered why we were getting so many strange posts here...

such a bummer.

I hate it when people try to fix something that isn't broken...

I followed the link you gave that ended in 'kitchens'. it brought up a list (long) of options with a number of them pre checked... is that just a sample? it ended saying 4 items were checked and had a box to click that said 'done' in it.

it doesn't say what i'm to do with it, if anything.

it seems they are determined to ruin the forums here.

I've read a bit at this site. It's
different from here but it's established. LOTS of different topic
forums. If we went en mass and kept or GW screen names we could find
each other.

someone else posted a link to Dave's Garden. I went there and I like it. It needs more people! But if we all went to both/either of these places we could make it be like here.

I just went to your link, and I only see kitchen posts. Could it just be that they were working on it and now have it fixed?

OR they listened. For now.
