Tin, In the photo it looks as though this seedling does not have a terminal growth point which would stop further growth.

I have had a few different species slow or stop, but there was an apparent growth point.

Could always try some of the Keiki paste many have been dabbling with? Not that I have any experience with using it.

I have 2 like that out of a group of 60. That’s not so bad.

I wouldn’t consider myself a good grower. I think what important is knowing their needs. I think they have 4 needs: well drained soil, full sun, water daily during the growing season and fertilize every other week. I mix my soil with 70% perlite, 10% small stone and 20% soil. I water my plants every morning during the summer months and fertilize with miracle grow every other week. This formula has been working for me. So far no rot, no pest, no diseases and all of them are healthy with big caudex.

Sara, you are very welcome. I’ve also planted some in 100% coconut husk. I found that they grow faster and fatter in the perlite/Stone/soil mix I mentioned above.

Can the small stones be pumice Tin? I also have aquarium little tiny rocks? Thanks again for the great advice
