Almost bought these just now. Why is the shipping $55.00??? where is this coming from and how much do they weigh that you must charge nearly as much as the product itself?

Greetings!

We are sorry to hear that you are dissatisfied with the shipping cost. Shipping cost is calculated automatically though Houzz's shipping calculator system and it is based on the size and weight of the package and your zip code location. This particular set of items is also large, fragile, and weighs 13 lbs. We ship from City of Industry, California.

While we cannot control the shipping rates, we try to keep the price of our products low. You will find that on other sellers on Houzz will offer single glass cloches of the same sizes at prices more costly than our sets of three.

We hope we have answered your question. Feel free to contact us if you have any more questions!

Best,
CYS
