Primulina - one of Peter Shalit hybrids - "Piccolo" probably - but can be "Nimbus" or "Souvenir", Streptocarpus with a seedpod, a tip of Tradescantia zebrina sticking out of the white pot with lacy foliage - do not know what it is, the gorgeous variegated plant in front - my 2 guesses are either variegated Ficus elastica - or variegated Philodendron - but not sure if it is either of them.

The AV in blue cashepot is most probably a semi-mini trailer that needs half of the leaves removed - the idea is remove damaged leaves, than remove the leaves that are looking in, only leave the ones that sticking out, this way you let some light into the crown - and it will bloom better.

The lacy leaf is a scented geranium I propagated & a Streptocarpus and a Primulina then Aglaonema is the big leaf....Thank you Irina for the AV suggestion.

Darn Irina...you're good! And thanks Debra! That is a pretty little violet. No name, huh? That's ok. Noids need homes too! Rosie

...The violet trailer is a S Grotei Silvert.

Oh & I opened up the middle of it & the 2 Saintpaulias as well.

No, this is not Saintpaulia grotei Silvert clone. Wrong shape of the leaf and and the color is wrong. Should be purple blue. This one is a hybrid.

Okay..It must have died! haha, because I remember buying one. Hmmmmm....I'll go find out what it is & get back to you 2.....Okay this must be it... https://www.violetbarn.com/store/trailing-violets/our-own-hybrids/robs-willawong.html

The plant that is closest to the window that is just coming up is a Kohleria 'Marta'

    Is this correct?

    Is this correct?

The Left plant is a Primulina 'Nimbus' & the other is a Streptocarpus 'Lady Slipper'

Nimbus is correct, Lady Slipper is one of the Dibleys' Streptocarpus variety - when a bud opens -you can find the correct name. Kohleria Marta I grow so when it opens the bud - I can confirm. Rob's Willawong is very possible the name of your little trailer.

What are your pink and blue eye violets? - the names didn't get through.

If you order the plants from vendors - the box usually comes with a printed order with plant names. Punch the holes in these orders and stick them in the binder. You can always find a correct name later if the tag is lost - or put a mark on a side of the sheet - "do not like it that much". The fact that it grows well under fluorescent lights in Violet Barn - doesn't mean it will do as well on a natural light on your windowsill. May be yes, may be no.

Don't know...my Mr. brought me home those 2 AVs from Home Depot last week.....Did I trim them correctly Irina? The Trailer & 2 Avs?

You shouldn't trim rosette violets this way. You only remove older leaves when they are spent. The ones that your DH brought from HD are standard violets, not trailers - but they will come back.

Trailer. Will work. When it will start growing - remove these old leaves in a couple of months. A bit too severe to my taste, you could leave more young leaves in the centers of each crown.

There is a CD at AVSA.com store - a program on trailers by Bill Price. Priceless -- everything you need to know about growing AV trailers.
