Lovely kitchen. Can you please tell me if the rift cut oak is suitable to use with a shaker style cabinet door or best with the slab style.

in order to see the linear characteristics of this wood, my preference is flat, but you can certainly do a simple shaker door profile. I would recommend having your millworker provide a sample for you.

I have used Rift Cut white Oak for the cabinets in my home that are a combination of shaker and flat surface. I think it looks fantastic!
