Hi there - I wondered if one you wise gardeners might be able to make a suggestion for a low lying/ground cover type plant for our open air, northwest facing atrium? I am in Zone 9 and that area gets shade for the bulk of the day but then hot sun at the later portion of the day (which can be a few hours in the summer). We did a sea of mondo grass which all died, followed by a sea of fescue - which did better but still looks like it's been through hell and back. Any other ideas? Many thanks!
