Cool Blues - not blue or purple

One of my adeniums (Desert Rose) blooming the past few days. This one is supposed to be a blue-purple but it's definitely not looking like Cool Blues. I still like it but I'll have to wait and see if it ever gets anywhere close to it's advertised color. In different PH or temperature it may shift more purple as it settles in and matures later but so far, not remotely close to the mark.

Exceptional bloom, Hyn. Nice that the colors within each petal have the margins that Cool Blies has, just not the same colors. Looking at yours reminds me of my Triple Twilight. The colors where more less the same as your and in the next year of blooming. The rich Blue/purple was definitely there.

Love the shape of this flower.

I am hoping with age as the grafted plant matures, it'll show more purple. Meanwhile I do have to admit that I like the flower even as it is. Yellow-white throat, red center, pink edges with a darker red central area to each petal. While I am for the moment disappointed in the color, it is still a striking flower. So, I'll wait and see.

Yep! Very beautiful!!! Hyn, can we see a picture of Cool Blues? I don't know how it suppose to look. Most of my "black" adeniums were not black at all, probably because temps were too extreme.... hopefully next year we'll get something closer to advertised plants. :)

Sure, here's a photo of how 'Cool Blues' is advertised to look like. Except for the edging around the petals and being a single, not much alike to me. Yet.
