Shed Lock

I have a small outdoor garden shed that I need to keep locked. The lock that it comes with no longer works - I can't get the key to make it lock. The lock's always been finicky, and even if it can be repaired, I think it needs replacing.
What do you think my best option is? If possible, I'd like to DIY.
