Well, i barely touched the leaf in question today and it fell off. Here's a pic. Any ideas?

Stressed maybe. new leaves fall all the time. Doesnt mean the cutting is dying... After days of rain. My hoyas lost a lot of leaves. The plants arent rotted. Just dropped leaves.....i dont think its lack of nutrients since its a cutting and soil shouldnt be that old. I also wouldnt let it get too dry. Roots die that way too.

I think mine may have had bug issues even though I originally assumed it was being fickle with lighting. I found root mealies on its neighbor wibergiae... so then I went on a neem maiming spree. My moonshadow has since seemed WAY more stable and doesn't seem to go from super happy to droopy and weird in nano-seconds. I took a small rooted vine a split it into a mini pot to check the roots and they didn't have any creepy crawlies... so who knows! But if your plant goes south I can send you that little guy. :)

Apparently I DID let it get too dry. When the second (and last) leaf looked the same way today, I shook it out of the pot, and the roots were mostly dark, with a few whiter ones. So I'm assuming most of the roots are dead. The soil was completely dry. Darned if I don't over or under water them! Incrassata must not like me. I went ahead and repotted it and watered it well, but the leaf is barely on. Not at all stable feeling. Looks like it'll be falling off soon. I saw nothing on the roots. No creepy crawlies of any kind. How kind of you, postpunk! I really appreciate it, but this is the second Moonshadow I've lost. I'm afraid to try again.
