New house kitchen layout

Just submitted for permits so I figured it was time to talk kitchen layout. This is just the designer's plan - nothing done on this yet.

We are a family of 3 and do a lot of cooking. Moving from a larger house that had separate prep and main sink. We are pretty committed to 48 in range, 60 in fridge, MW drawer and are used to 36 in double sink.

If the measurements aren't readable, the island is 4x10. The fridge wall is 12 feet.

We are used to more uppers and realize we are going to dish drawers.

Thanks in advance!

Looking for layout advice. This is just a template in my mind. One option that was brought up was a second sink on the wall to create a cleaning zone. Put the dishwasher over there. The island sink would then be a prep sink. This would probably need to be of decent size to not get dwarfed on the large island.

We do plan on seating on the island - just 3 spots.

If we do the cleaning zone on the side, we are left with a two 24 inch dish drawers which might be tight. On the side of the island would be MW drawer and a dish drawer.

I hear that you want the jumbo-sized appliances...to me the counterspace is kinda wimpy in comparison. Not sure the fix--can you share the whole floorplan? Where would you add the clean-up sink you mentioned?

Agree on the appliances to counter top ratio; But 10 ft wide island is a decent amount of space. The double ovens of the 48 range is helpful as is the large fridge/freezer. We don't have another fridge or freezer anywhere which is the reason for the large size. I could see that changing but it isn't our current plan.

I could share more of the floorplan but changing the size of the kitchen is not going to happen. Minor tweaks for window placement but no bigger changes than that.
