I have been pricing Caesarstone for my kitchen. One of the fabricators showed me some slabs of non-brand-name quartz (photo of the slab up close, attached) that he offered to sell me for about $15/sq. ft. less than the best price I've found on Caesarstone. I like the way the quartz looks, but the fabricator can't tell me anything about it-- who made it, what the color is called, nothing. Something about this is making me wary. Is all quartz the same and you just paying more for a name brand or might this be inferior quality? It looks to be exactly the same material as all the Silestone and Caesarstone I've looked at, but it's impossible to know for sure.
