Quartz top

Is the quartz top all one solid piece? I read in a review that the carrera marble top was two pieces glued together. Is that true?

The countertop surface is one single slab. The double-thick beveled edging is additional quartz that is cemented to the underside of the surface slab. This gives the countertop a thicker, heavier appearance.
