The BSD2-01 Magic Soap Dish works excellent with the 4.0 oz and 4.25 oz size Dove bar soaps. The 4.0 oz Dove bar soap is 3.3" long x 2.4" wide x 1.2" thick. Attached is a photo showing the Magic Soap Dish holding the Dove bar soap. Hope this answers your question.

The Magic Soap Dish

The soap I need your soap dish to hold is 2" thick and is from Costco. It is NOT Dove soap although it looks like it. From the picture, it doesn't look like it will hold a 2" thick oval bar of Costco soap, yes?

Thank you for the clarification. You are correct, the Magic Soap Dish is not designed to hold a 2 inch thick bar of soap. You can, however, cut the 2 inch thick bar of soap into (2) 1 inch bars of soap, then depending on their length and width dimensions, they might fit. Your bar of soap, at some point, as it gets used up, will be able to fit in the Magic Soap Dish, and when it does, it will last 20% longer, because it will never be allowed to sit and melt in its own soap water.
