Kyle, do you really want a "large selection"? The reason I ask is that there are limited numbers of cultivars that are disease resistant and will really hold up for very long. I personally wouldn't waste my time planting one that is not one of the disease resistant types.

Many wild dogwoods here seem to be in great health. But, I know about the disease issues and would want to plant a disease resistant one if I was gonna spend money on a cultivar.

Any cultivar recommendations, Brandon?

I've read quite a bit, but nothing compares to actually seeing one in person.

I'm interested in white-bracted ones, that have nice form, and by that I mean more tree-like, not shrub-like.

I would consider Cornus florida 'Appalachian Spring', C (florida x kousa) 'Rutcan' (aka Constellation), and C (florida x kousa) 'Rutban' (aka Aurora). I believe they will match your requirements.

p.s. ... Also, add C (florida x kousa) 'KF111-1' (aka Hyperion) to the list. At least from what I read, it appears to be an "ideal" cultivar with superior pest and disease resistance and even a fair amount of drought resistance.
