You might want to change from, what are you during to.. what are you doing.

Yes...a good start but for the long term, not more then 3 children bring into the world....lower population is what the earth needs! Earth can't sustain our current population.

I don't know too many folks that can 1) afford $65K to install a used wind turbine nor 2) would every situation be appropriate for their use......ya gotta have some decent wind to make these guys work!!

And most metropolitan areas do require household recycling. Even most fast food outfits now differentiate between garbage, compostibles and recyclables. That is a very widely accepted practice. In my area, you will be fined if you include any recyclables or food waste in the garbage.

And as much as we may dislike them, cars are a fact of life. I travel all over the area for my business, often putting on several hundred miles a day. There is NO way I could use public transportation or walk to business appointments. But I do attempt to group appointments together and also piggy back any errands on the same trip.

My city already requires us to recycle everything possible. The only things allowed In the trash are plastic film, polystyrene, china and composite materials which can’t be recycled. We have a trash container which holds about a cubic foot of rubbish and we rarely fill it. I’m lucky enough to live in a small walkable city and I don’t own a car. A wind turbine would require planning permission which I would not get to stick it on top of an 18th century listed building in a dense urban area. We have a water meter and the electricity is linked to a smart meter which shows us our consumption at all times.

As to making suggestions, since we don’t know your current lifestyle that’s hard to do.

Well...who is lecturing? Hope your'e not one of them but the typical American live style is too many cars..boats, motorhomes..ATV's..race cars/bikes ...Country house with turbine etc. get rid of these unnecessary items which impacts our environment and spend the free cash on research.

This is a nice initiative and I think will prove to be great in the long run.
