Lol good one .certain i didn't mix them up i have two large pinks one in the ground other is the poor one i have attempted to graft onto its puzzling. Maybe it didn't like being deleafed at the end of last summer it had a bad case of bugs.

Is this a grafted plant? Are those all newer shoots that are flowering? If so, The grafted portion is the red and the pink is probably coming from the newer shoots of mother plant/base.

Oh Peter, not sure what happened there, looks like a different plant, but the pink blooms are nice :-). Try next time to use seeweed concentrate and fish emulsion, but it has nice roots. I like it.

Candice its not a graft i bought it as a seedling .Agartta thats what i use .this is it as a small plant

Pete, Karma sounds like a good name for this plant. On a more serious note, I think you should try to get your hands on a orchid flowering fertiliser and try that on this plant. Although your fertiliser has a high potassium content, it has a rather low phosphorus content and a high nitrogen. I know it is hard here in Australia to find a good flowering fertiliser that suits the needs of our adeniums, but that would be my advice. Here are some photos of the best orchid fertiliser I have found that I can purchase locally, from a specialist orchid nursery...Note - it is made here in Australia. You will notice that it has a more balanced NPK than yours. In case you can't read the label in the photo. N-12 P-8 K-18 (I can personally recommend this fertiliser)

I'm glad you were able to find it. That's a bigger size, which is probably better for you, so you don't have to order too often. Yes, it is a dearer fertiliser, but I think you'll like it. You can always keep it to use on your favourite plants and use your other fertiliser on the rest of them. (I use 20mls per 10litres of water.) Btw, I also mix some seaweed solution in my watering can at the same time. :) Have a good day.

Hi Pete, glad to hear you got your fertiliser. When I use it I just make it up in a watering can and then water the pot/soil only, not the leaves. I don't water my leaves normally.

I particularly like to use this fertiliser on my plants when I can see little buds just starting to form. It really seems to speed up the growth of the buds, and improves the colour of flowers and it can help double/triple buds to form properly. I think you should definitely give this a try on your plant that 'Karma' took a hold of. :D

Hopefully it will revert back to a triple red flower.

More likely the flower colour wasn't stable. It reverted
(mutated back) to a pinkish colour. If that's the case, changing fertilizer won't help at all...

Hi martin the plant is slowly returning back .it has thrown a couple of triple flowers im living in hope that the plant called karma will return to its brilliance this summer

Just gave away another two pinks this weekend just can't be bothered with them:×)
