I used to work for potter barn and did some gallery wall projects ... see guide link below.

thanks! the link is very helpful, which layout would you go with?

i like reflection & spiral

of course, the tricky ones! I kind of lean towards the 9 square, don't want to spend much money on this space, and seems like a easier install. If I did the 9 square, could I do rectangular frames? I found a 16 x 20 at Target that is a nice color and obviously lower price

Sorry, I am not here to comment on your question, (though Humberto Delgado's link to gallery walls was very helpful)

I am just wondering, if you don't mind, what that adorable kitty/Hobbit/elf door is?

Hello. On your wall will fit such pictures.

woodteam5 - that is a access door for the shower plumbing on the other side of the wall.

I would encourage you to consider a large single piece of art on that wall instead of a "gallery". I think it would be dramatic and create great interest. Where a group of small things is not as interesting unless you do favorite family photos or something with some sentimental value. But from what I see on the floor, it looks like you are thinking various art pieces. Let me find some photos for inspiration for that wall. bbl

LOL I like a challenge ... and yes target & michael's have good prices.

Use a rectangular or square shape as just a guide for your layout.

mod20, I was also curious about that adorable mini door. LOL, I was hoping for something more "magical" than access to the shower! ;-)

I think the 9-square would work nicely for that wall.

I do like grover's first pic. The large canvas would also be nice.
