as they mature they turn green....bright light might give you more of the pink and white leaves, or make the pink temporarily a deeper color, but eventually they will turn green....

nope, they don't turn green, they stay white-green (whatever part was white remains white that is). only the pink part will turn white.

but if it's not getting enough light the amount of white will decrease in new leaves. the more light the more pink/white and visa versa.

also you can get plain green sports - they grow faster then variegated ones and it's better to cut off the vine that produces them. or they might eventually overwhelm the variegated vines and your plant can become plain green.

The following is a feeble attempt at light humor. Either,

• "as they mature they turn green..." Or,
• "nope, they don't turn green,..."

Mine have never turned green.

Sorry---been a long time since I had a tricolor....should have waited for others to respond....I know the white stays white, but thought the pink turned green---know they don't stay pink...so the pink turns white?

On mine the pink leaves turn white as they age.
