Hi. I just hung my curtains and I think they are too short off the ground. I hung them above the frame of the window, and in your picture i see the length is just above the bottom wood frame. What is the rule for curtain length? I'm seriously thinking of lowering the rod and losing the top view to satisify the bottom view.

Well, there are no "Rules", however, I always, always hang the rod higher and wider than the window for two reasons. 1. It makes the room feel higher, and 2. it allows most of the window and light to show. I normally prefer a drape to kiss the floor, but here, in a child's room, I opted for a more casual (shorter) look and used a 63" drapery. I hope that helps?!
