Hibiscus type?

Hello,

thanks for reading/replying in advance. I have this presumed to be hibiscus plant in the yard. I love the yellow flowers. When I look online I do not see any like this and I may be confusing it with a poppy? The leaves close at night which are characteristics in both plants .

where is it?

It's in a space mixed with succulents. It's very overgrown and the hibiscus is growing in different places. I want to try to dig a part up and pot where it will grow better. The plants are not on my part of the yard but they need attention

Ok, one more time lol.... Anyone can ID this possible hibiscus?? I think this other pic is of the same plant with a different flower

not looking like tropical hibiscus to me. wrong leave shape and flower type....

Second plant is a different species, maybe different genus also - both are in same family as Hibiscus but may not belong to Hibiscus themselves.
