Maximizing dead space for master bathroom & walk in closet?

Currently our duplex down has a limited master bathroom. We are looking to expand the bathroom into some unused space in our bedroom with the potential to add a WIC as the current one isn't big enough for the two of us (my husband uses the one in our second bedroom).

Currently the dead space has a small vanity I use to get ready since our bathroom is one sink. Ideally I'd like a double vanity in the new bathroom.

Anyone successfully done this? We are starting the process of meeting with designers but nervous it may be too much of an undertaking for the space.

Below is my "stab" at the floor plan to give a better idea.

This IMO will require some major plumbing to make it happen or you could just put in a pocket door and turn the vanity to run along the right wall but I am not understanding the measurements 4’ 83” really makes no sense. Is the wall almost 14’ long or is it 83” enlighten us and then maybe you will get some real help.

One side of the hall bath is 5’ and the other is 7’?

If the are both 5’, then the only master bathroom I can envision is the toilet in the bottom right of the empty space, a neoangle shower next to it, and a vanity on the left wall. There is no way to add both a master bathroom and a walkin closet.

The bathroom you have now is a hall bath, correct? I think everyone might just be confused by your questions.
