Cinnamon?

I woke up today (technically it is yesterday, but I just got home from work, so it is still today for me) and it was drizzling outside. I freaked! I've already lost 4 cuttings to rot. The first cuttings have been in pots for about 6 or 7 weeks. Others, like the "rooted" ones from Thailand that I spent a fortune on are even fresher in pots. Most were up under the south facing eave and hopefully okay. I lined them all up under the eave, so all semi-protected now & get sun throughout the day.

So, I didn't want to add moisture with my neem oil spray, and had to go into research mode. I read that cinnamon was great for anti-fungal. I found some really old stuff and sprinkled the tops of the soil in the pots. Hopefully it helps.

Has anyone used this for anti-fungal? What method did you use? They say it is good protection for rooting also and for the cut ends if you prune. Any idea how long cinnamon powder lasts?

Thanks,

Kat
