Very small balcony/porch

I have a very small porch/balcony on the second floor of a big old Victorian house. The size is about 5 feet across and 10 feet long. I want to make it usable for at least 3 people. It also has a wider area right at the top of the stairs and at the door into the building. This area is useable but can't be blocked. Any suggestions on how to best use this space?
